London (and most of Europe) is obsessed with organic food. Despite there not being Whole Foods grocery stores here yet as in the US (but they're coming), people are constantly asking about where their food is from and if it were grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives.
But in their zeal to be 'part of the pact' of organic lovers and fool themselves into thinking organic means they;ll live longer, they've fallen for the biggest trick in the book...The Organic Scam. If they (and you) believe that the majority of the foods we eat are truly organic, then you're as dumb as you look when you dole out £50 for two so-called organic food items. It's incredible to watch someone buy a bunch of bananas and believe that they are truly organic.
I'm sorry that I've fallen for being a pessimist and non-believer about most everything, but until you can come up with a system to guarantee me the food I eat is really, truly organic, I won't believe the bullshit spread out like horse manure!
£2 more for organic free lettuce! Give me a break! With so much organic food being grown today, do you really believe prices for organic produce have to be higher than so-called 'normal' food?! Whatever happened to more inventory, more demand = lower prices?
Believe the Organic Scam all you want. Their living off your stupidity.

What are you talking about?! Have you never heard of greengrocers?! You can get organic food from there for pennies. Or what about trying to grow your own? All you need is dirt and water, it's magic!!
